The Reems Creek Wildlife Club
Conservation • Community • Outdoor Traditions
Located just minutes outside of Asheville, NC, the Reems Creek Wildlife Club unites those devoted to conservation and outdoor heritage. We promote responsible recreation and stewardship to ensure our mountain traditions thrive for future generations.
Our Heart Beats for the Wild: A Mission Reborn
Founded in 1951 by Weaverville natives, Reems Creek Wildlife Club is a 501(c) nonprofit organization rooted in a shared commitment to community, conservation, and the outdoor traditions that make Western North Carolina special. For more than 75 years, the club has provided a place where generations of neighbors, families, and friends can gather, build lasting connections, and share an appreciation for the land, wildlife, and natural beauty of the Reems Creek Valley.
Â
That connection to the land is at the heart of our club. The property is bordered by more than 200 feet of Reems Creek itself, a stocked trout stream that winds through the valley and offers a beautiful reminder of the natural resources our club was created to appreciate and preserve. Surrounded by the landscape of the Appalachian Mountains, the grounds provide a special place to enjoy the outdoors while remaining connected to the community around us.

After the storm tested both our club and our community, we came together with a renewed sense of purpose—not simply to rebuild our hall, but to preserve the legacy it represents. Our commitment extends beyond the building itself to protecting the land, traditions, and sense of community that have been part of Reems Creek Wildlife Club since its beginning.

Today, we are proud to carry that legacy forward, providing a welcoming place where our community can gather, celebrate, connect with nature, and experience the Appalachian heritage we are proud to call home.
More than a wildlife club, Reems Creek is a place for the community to come together and celebrate life’s special moments. From birthdays and family reunions to weddings, receptions, and community gatherings, our clubhouse and grounds offer a unique setting surrounded by the natural beauty of Western North Carolina.

In a time when development continues to reshape the landscape around us, Reems Creek Wildlife Club remains a place where the character of the land has been intentionally preserved. Here, guests can gather away from modern construction and encroachment, surrounded instead by woods, open space, mountain character, and the peaceful setting that has made this property special for generations.
By opening our doors for special events, we hope to share this special place with our community while continuing to protect the land, traditions, and natural beauty that define Reems Creek.
